QUICK BITES

CIRCUS CIRCUS: A Yogurt Beach is open on the mezzanine level near the food court. The beach-themed shop serves frozen yogurt and custard in what the locally owned business describes as a “10 minute vacation.”

Yogurt Beach is the sixth restaurant opened in Circus Circus in 2017 and is part of a $50 million renovation of Eldorado Resorts properties.

ATLANTIS: A winemaker’s dinner featuring Silver Oak and Twomey Cellars takes place Jan. 25 in Bistro Napa. The cost is $165.

The menu includes bouillabaisse served with Twomey Sauvignon Blanc, and uova da raviolo served with Twomey Pinot Noir. Duck confit will be paired with Twomey Soda Canyon Ranch Merlot.

Wood-fired American wagyu strip loin will be served with Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignons from Alexander Valley and Napa Valley. Dessert is brandied cherries with chocolate ganache and chocolate mousse.

The second annual Winter Wonderland takes place at 6 p.m. Feb. 8 in the Grand Ballroom. The event benefits the Nevada Diabetes Association and includes seasonal cocktails and gourmet bites provided by local restaurants.
