Reno, Sparks, Tahoe casinos offer Christmas dishes
A gourmet dinner buffet will be served from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom. The menu includes chilled Dungeness and snow crab, jumbo prawns, smoked scallops and trout, turkey, prime rib, orange marmalade-glazed ham, rack of lamb persille, beef Wellington, pan-roasted duck breast and herb-crusted salmon dijonnaise.
Cost: $64.95 and $18.95 ages 4-10.
A champagne brunch will be served from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Christmas dinner will be served from 3-9 p.m. in Toucan Charlie’s Buffet and Grille. The menu includes prime rib with blue cheese Yorkshire pudding, bone-in ham, leg of lamb roulade, salmon en croute, Peking duck with plum sauce, bacon-wrapped pork kabobs, herb-crusted lamb lollipops and made-to-order Mongolian barbecue.

Purple Parrot serves three-course dinners for $19.99 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The dinners include butternut squash-apple bisque or a mixed green salad with cinnamon crab apples; turkey or stuffed pork loin; and a chocolate sleigh with raspberry mousse.
The Manhattan Deli serves a three-course prime rib dinner for $25. The meal includes cream of asparagus soup or mixed green salad and a chocolate sleigh with raspberry mousse.
Bistro Napa serves two special four-course prix fixe dinners. The meals include a crab-stuffed giant prawn; tomato bisque or shaved pear and fennel salad; choice of hazelnut-crusted salmon for $52 or tournedos Rossi for $56; and gingerbread pudding with spiced pears and salted toffee sauce.
The Atlantis Steakhouse serves two special dinners. The meals include a prosciutto-wrapped prawn; five-spice pumpkin bisque or baby spinach salad; gratin aux fruits de mer for $60 or Prime strip loin for $55; and white chocolate jewel box with dark chocolate Chambord mousse and raspberry coulis.
A turkey or honey-baked ham dinner will be served for $9.99 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The meal includes pumpkin pie.
A three-course holiday dinner will be served for $35.99 from Dec. 22-25 in the Steakhouse.
CLUB CAL NEVA
A traditional turkey dinner with pumpkin pie will be served for $7.99 Dec. 24 and 25 in the Top Deck Restaurant.
The Buffet serves a special meal from 11:30 a.m. The menu includes chilled shrimp and snow crab legs, prime rib, turkey, hot links and kielbasa sausages, cranberry Dijon glazed ham, rosemary leg of lamb, crab cakes, grilled blackened salmon and mushroom ravioli.

Roxy serves three-course dinners from 4 p.m. The meals include cream of cornmeal with edam cheese and sautéed mushrooms; pan roasted venison loin or pan-seared black cod; and zabaione cheesecake with cranberries and crunch pepitas.
Cost: $88 per person with wine pairings (minimum of two people) and $56 without wine.
La Strada serves a special dinner for $44 from 4 p.m. The meal includes a salad with Dungeness crab; chicken cacciatora tortelli with mushroom risotto; prosciutto-wrapped monk fish and roasted duck breast with apple and cranberry chutney; and warm chocolate chunk croissant pudding with Chantilly, hazelnut and berries.
Millies24 serves traditional Christmas items from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., including pecan-glazed ham for $14.95, Hunter-style chicken for $14.95and roast duck breast for $21.95. Soup or house salad costs $2.95, and pumpkin, apple or cranberry pie costs $3.95.
GOLD DUST WEST
A ham dinner will be served for $9.99 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the Grille. The meal is free for club members who earn 200 base points that day.
Charlie Palmer Steak serves a special dinner from 2-9 p.m. Christmas Day. The meal includes shrimp ceviche; Maine lobster bisque with caviar crostini for $14 or seared foie gras for $28; prime rib with popovers for $44; and hot chocolate crème brulee with ginger bread cookies or cranberry-orange bread pudding with orange crème anglaise for $10.
Briscola serves a special meal from 5-9:30 p.m. The menu offers an arugula salad for $9; lobster cognac bisque for $12; pan-roasted Chilean sea bass for $35 or herb-marinated grilled beef tenderloin for $39; and Nutella profiteroles with eggnog Frangelico ice cream and chocolate sauce for $8.
Prix fixe cost for salad, soup, choice of entrée and dessert: $60.
Cantina serves a holiday meal for $50 from 5 p.m. to midnight. The menu includes grilled guajillo marinated pork with salsa verde and crema fresca for $10; pineapple and onion marinated snapper with cilantro puree for $12; seared hanger steak with black bean puree for $22.50; and mango cake with tamarind mousse for $8.
Grand Café serves special meals from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The meals include a baby kale salad and acorn squash soup; agave-glazed ham for $28, seared halibut for $32 or prime rib for $37; and apple pie.
The Grand Buffet serves a Christmas Day champagne brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a dinner menu from 2-9:30 p.m. Selections include chilled shrimp, snow crab and oysters, turkey, smoked beef brisket, ham, prime rib, smoked sausage, buttermilk fried chicken, Mediterranean-braised lamb shanks, pesto salmon filet, Hong Kong duck, pho soup, tandoori and pizza.
Brunch items also include chicken-fried steak, eggs Benedict, chorizo scrambled eggs and steak and eggs. Dinner items include grilled beef tenderloin, grilled New York steaks and smoked baby back ribs.

Café Milano serves a prime rib dinner for $22.95 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The dinner includes loaded potato bisque or Waldorf salad and eggnog cheesecake.
Oceano Oyster Bar and Sushi Restaurant serves special meals for $49 from 3-9:30 p.m. The meals include shrimp bisque or arugula and Asian pear salad; seared diver scallops or peppered pan-seared filet mignon; and eggnog crème brulee.
