The Reno Blues Society is putting a new spin on the pub crawl with the inaugural Balloons and Blues Strut on Sept. 10 at five venues on East Fourth Street, all within a two-block span and with a local blues band playing at each.

“We wanted to do something a little different than a traditional blues festival at one venue and we like to support our local bands and musicians so we came up with a blues strut as we’re calling it and looked for a place with several venues within a short walking distance of each other,” said Jamie Klund, Reno Blues Society president.

If you're wondering where the balloons come in, just head to The Great Reno Balloon Race before the Strut.
