Bond, James Bond
Beginning 6 p.m. June 16, Heritage Restaurant in Whitney Peak Hotel, 255 N. Virginia St., is hosting A Martini Dinner with Bond, James Bond. Cost: $50.
The dinner is part of the culture of food celebration of the 25th annual Nevada Humanities Festival and Chautauqua running through June 24.
Going to the dogs
On Mondays in June, you can dine with your dog on the terrace at Wild River Grille, 17 S. Virginia St.
A portion of your food bill will be donated to the Nevada Humane Society if you tell your server you’re dining in support of the organization.
Feast on gluttony
Beginning 1 p.m. June 25, chef Clint Jolly and Great Thyme Catering are presenting Gluttony at the Morris Burner Hotel, 400 E. Fourth St.

Western Nevada College Specialty Crop Institute is presenting its Guerrilla Farm Photography & Farmers Market Workshop from 1 to 6 p.m. June 30 at Sparks Museum & Cultural Center, 814 Victorian Ave, Sparks. The workshop covers photography techniques and best practices for farmers market sales.
