Art Slaves pushes boundaries of culture, expression
Art Slaves is now accepting submissions for its 20th Annual Show and Sale July 1-31 with an artist reception 5 to 9 p.m. July 7. Artwork will be on display at Swill Coffee & Wine for the entire month of July when Reno is Artown.
Who can submit
Artists of all genres are encouraged to submit, but the call is specific to those working in the communications fields of Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Graphic Design, Social Media and related fields of media and communications such as interaction design.
How to submit
Cost is $25 per entry for AAF members, $30 for non-member professionals or $20 per student entry. All pieces will be included in the art sale. Proceeds benefit the AAF Foundation, which contributes to many University of Nevada, Reno scholarships.
All submissions must be original and all flat pieces must be wired for hanging. Artists may submit multiple pieces to the Show and Sale, pending exhibition space. All submissions must be accompanied by an Art Slaves entry form and must include the size of each piece. About the Show and Sale
The public is invited to view and purchase all displayed artwork during the July 7 reception and throughout the month of July. The theme of this year’s event is pushing the boundaries of art, culture and expression through various media.
