More water, more fun at North Lake Tahoe
North Lake Tahoe has transitioned into summer over the Memorial Day weekend with annual opening day celebrations in Tahoe City, the West Shore and around North Lake Tahoe. For the first time since late 2014, water flows through the Truckee River Dam in Tahoe City again as lake levels rose to the natural rim in April and continue to rise as the weather warms and snowpack melts, making this summer one to celebrate.
