Tahoe's Loft to celebrate 2016
South Lake Tahoe’s newest hotspot, the Loft Live Theatre – Lounge – Dining, will welcome 2016 with two New Year’s Eve celebrations. Located within the Heavenly Village, The Loft, which opens Dec. 15, combines theater with nightly live entertainment, an intimate bar, lounge and restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine.
The New Year’s Eve “Magic Fusion” dinner/show features a three-course meal with dessert, a bottle of sparkling wine for each table and a ticket to see magician Tony Clark for $75 per person (plus gratuity). Dinner seating begins at 5:30 p.m. with the show at 7 p.m. A nondinner show option that evening is available for $40; the bar/lounge opens at 4 p.m. Both are available here.
Following the mind-bending tricks, the restaurant and lounge is the venue for an exclusive VIP New Year’s Eve celebration to welcome 2016. The soiree will feature hors d’oeuvres from The Loft’s chef Lisa Devenchezi-Miller, cocktails, wine and beer, music, decorations, party favors and a countdown to midnight with sparkling wine toast. Doors open at 8 p.m.
San Diego-based deejay Abe Lemus will spin music throughout the party with a wide range of sounds, including chill and deep house early in the evening to high-energy, top-40 dance music, R&B and dance favorites until 2 a.m.
The upscale living room-style lounge area has overstuffed couches, sectionals, private rooms and fireplaces. The lounge features signature cocktails, craft brews, fine wines and a full bar. Options include general admission, no-reserved seating as well as standing room. Guests have a VIP table/bottle service option available for parties of four or more. Tickets start at $100 and are available here.
