Can't cook? Check out Taste of Home
Learn new cooking tips and techniques at the country’s favorite live cooking show, the “Taste of Home Cooking School” on Nov. 7 at the Nugget Casino Resort. Attendees will enjoy entertaining cooking demonstrations by top culinary professionals, learn step-by-step expert cooking techniques and meet other people who love to cook.
The day starts with a free Taste of Home Expo, held in the Nugget Ballroom foyer from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. before the cooking school begins. The expo kicks off the event with regional vendors who will offer samples, discount opportunities, culinary information and locally produced goods and services.
After the expo, join “Taste of Home” culinary specialist Renee Morgan for the “Taste of Home Cooking School Show” from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Nugget Ballroom, on the second floor of the Nugget.
All Taste of Home Cooking School attendees will receive a reusable Smith’s goodie bag with Taste of Home coupons and gifts. Tickets are available at three different levels, and each level comes with additional perks: VIP tickets include front-section seating, the “Taste of Home’s Holidays & Celebrations” cookbook, free entrance to the VIP hospitality area that offers complimentary wine, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and a goody bag.
