June is flying by and we're nearly halfway through the summer season, even though summer doesn't officially start until June 21. We decided to ask the Silver Legacy's Renossance Man about what events he's attending in Reno before the end of the month. Here is his list.

Comedian Bill Burr

Comedian Bill Burr will be at the Silver Legacy on June 20. Drawing from personal experience, current events, and more, Burr's comedic timing is a hit every single time. He's also the host of "Bill Burr's Morning Podcast," where he riffs on interesting topics, takes listener questions, and hosts guest comedians. Most recently, Burr has appeared in "The Heat" and "Breaking Bad," and has an animated show, "F Is for Family," coming to Netflix in the fall that will be based on his comedy routines. Show time is 8 p.m. and tickets range from $65 to $80. The Silver Legacy is also offering a 20% room discount with purchase of a ticket.

Bob Feist Invitational Team Roping

Get your rodeo fix with Bob Feist Invitational Team Roping at the Reno/Sparks Livestock Events Center on June 22. The intense event forces the cowboys to bring their mental best into the ring. The steers get an 18-foot head start while the cowboys can't make a mistake for six rounds, or else they're out of the running. Only the top 100 teams from the United States and Canada are invited to enter this fierce competition. Celebrating 38 years of invitationals and 31 years in Reno, team roping is not to be missed. During the final stage of the event, the girls will be judged in three categories: 50s-themed outfit, bathing suit and accessories competition, and an evening gown, hair, and makeup competition. Contestants will also be asked trivia questions throughout the evening, which will count toward their final score. Salon 7 will be available for hair and makeup.
