Virginia City museums offer special deal on admission
Historic Virginia City museums invite you to participate as they bring its most popular social media hashtag to life for a second year with Flashback Friday Museum Days. Ten museums filled with historic Comstock lore are waiving admission costs on the first Friday of the month on May 1, June 5, July 3, Aug. 7, Sept. 4 and Oct. 2. Participants are encouraged to donate as the museums rely solely on contributions.
When you share a photo and/or video to your favorite social media using #VCFlashbackFriday, you will be entered to win two passes to the 56th annual International Camel & Ostrich Races or Taste of the Comstock. Complete rules are online at VisitVirginiaCityNV.com.
Participating museums include:
- Comstock History Center
- Historic Fourth Ward School Museum
- Julia Bulette Red Light Museum (adult content; must be 18 years old)
