International blues legend, Buddy Guy, will headline the first concert in the "Cargo at Whitney Peak Hotel Presents: Live from the Arch" series on Saturday, Sept. 19. Philadelphia-based alternative, hip-hop band, G Love & Special Sauce, and alt-country singer-songwriter, Todd Snider, will also perform. Whitney Peak's Cargo concert hall will host the after-party beginning at 10 p.m.

"We have had such a tremendous response to the type of artists we are bringing to Reno that wanted to take it to the next level," said Niki Gross, general manager of the hotel. "The 'Live from the Arch' series will accommodate 3,000 concertgoers and provide the opportunity for locals and tourists to experience world-class music in the blues, country and indie genres – all with the famous Arch and Whitney Peak Hotel as the backdrop."

Tickets are on sale via the Cargo website at General admission tickets are $55 each; Peak Pass tickets are $75 each and include admission to the after-party in Cargo; and VIP tickets, which include access to a premium, private viewing area, private bar and bathrooms along with admission to the after-party, are available for $125 each.
