TMCC has restructured its summer camp schedule with a full-day option for weeklong camps this summer.

"Parents have asked for camps to be extended to better work around their busy professional schedules,” said TMCC program manager Nicole McDowell. “The full-day summer program is especially convenient for working parents who need a safe, fun and educational place to drop off their children for the day."

Along with offering a longer camp schedule, the camps will feature weekly themes such as "the magic castle" and "greener community" to keep participants excited about exploring different subjects and interests. The camps are broken into two groups, ages 6 to 9 and ages 10 to 13 to ensure a safe learning environment. Youth programs are held through TMCC’s Workforce Development and Community Education.

Camps such as Minecraft, magic, Lego robotics and volleyball are just a few of the many topics being offered this year. TMCC offers one-week classes for children and teens who are interested in pursuing passions such as cooking, improvisational acting and 3-D printing.

Week-long camps continue through Aug. 5.
