A permit was filed with the city of Reno to change the exterior of the former Banana Republic space at the Summit Mall in south Reno. The project is named "Apple."

Banana Republic closed in March, leaving the space open since then. An Apple spokesperson said they have nothing to announce at this time. A Summit Mall spokesperson also said they had no information about a possible move.

The Apple Store is on the north end of the mall and sits in a smaller retail space than the former Banana Republic. Its parking lot is also smaller than the area in front of Banana Republic.
