These forecast tools put you one step ahead of winter weather
It's almost winter and that means it's time to prepare for heading into the mountains to ski, snowboard, snowshoe, snowmobile or just play in the snow.
And playing in the snow is going to be safer and more fun if you're prepared for the weather conditions.
Much of that preparation can happen from the comfort of your laptop computer before you even leave the house if you know where to go online for winter weather information.
Here's a video of the sites I visit almost daily once the snow starts flying. They're what I use to stay one step ahead of snowfall, wind and rapid changes in temperature.
The video not only points out some often-overlooked sites, it shows viewers how to use them. Below the video are some links to the sites mentioned.
Have fun and be safe this winter. Post your own favorite weather sites in the comments.
