The Nugget Casino Resort’s Oyster Bar has been named one of the top seafood restaurants in the state of Nevada by

“This popular oyster bar offers quality seafood at reasonable prices,” article author Jennifer Young said. “Some of their delicious menu items include seafood Louie, chowder, gumbo, oysters and Lazyman's cioppino. The portions are large, so make sure you bring along a hearty appetite.”

The Nugget’s Oyster Bar opened in 1964 and specializes in fresh seafood served in a nautical setting.

“Some of our servers have been with the Oyster Bar for years,” said Scott Kidd, vice president of food and beverage with the Nugget Casino Resort. “They know the restaurant inside and out, and don’t skip a beat while serving our regular, and new, customers.”

When the Nugget changed ownership in 2013, the Nugget’s new owners vowed not to change the popular dining spot.

“Locals and visitors alike enjoy the delicious offerings at the Oyster Bar, and it has the same menu and décor as when the ownership change took place,” Nugget President and CEO Carlton Geer said. “The only thing we’ve changed is the carpet.”
