Beginning 5:30 p.m. (7:30 p.m. dinner) Oct. 29, the India Association of Northern Nevada is hosting a dinner and cultural performance to mark Diwali (dee VAL ee), the Hindu festival of lights celebrating the victory of good over evil, knowledge over ignorance.
The event takes place in the Paradise Ballroom of the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, 3800 S. Virginia St.
