Streets in Virginia City, Reno and Sparks will soon be revving with classic cars, entertainment, vendors and auctions. The 30th annual Hot August Nights returns to the area starting Friday in Virginia City and is kicking off Sunday in Reno.
There are so many events to take in, but with some planning, everyone can make the most of it, said Mike Whan, executive director of Hot August Nights.
“Come here, and take it in like Disneyland - an automobile Disneyland,” Whan said. “Where you want to go, what you want to see. Just enjoy yourself. It’s a chance for everyone to enjoy everything about the Reno-Tahoe area so they come back for another year.”
