The Nugget Casino Resort announces the 2016 Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off concert lineup Aug. 31-Sept. 5.

Aug. 31: The Rocket Man Show – Elton John Tribute:

Rus Anderson performs as a young Elton John in the tribute show "Rocket Man." The show has earned an endorsement by the Elton John Fan Club and the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Walk down the yellow brick road and relive the highs and lows of Elton's long career. Remember when rock was young?

Sept. 1: The Garage Boys:

The Garage Boys are a high-energy, 100-percent organic rock band. Their unique sound reflects their influences, which include The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Stone Temple Pilots, Bob Marley, Sublime, Thin Lizzy, Metallica, Radiohead and Steely Dan.

Sept. 2: Vertical Horizon:

Founded in the early 1990s as a duo, Vertical Horizon released three albums independently and toured extensively. In 1999, Vertical Horizon signed with RCA and sold more than 2 million copies of “Everything You Want." The title song captured the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Hot 100 and Adult Top 40 charts and went on the become the most played single of 2000.

Sept. 3: Jessie James Decker:

In 2009, Decker released her debut album featuring the hit single "Wanted." In 2013, Decker married NFL wide receiver Eric Decker. Their life as a couple was chronicled on the hit E! reality show "Eric and Jessie: Game On." Her "Comin Home" EP hit No. 1 on iTunes upon its release in April 2014 and debuted in the top 5 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart.

Sept. 4: Eddie Money:

After signing a recording contract with Columbia Records, Money burst onto the scene with his debut album in 1977. His hits include "Baby Hold On" and "Two Tickets to Paradise." Money followed the success of his debut with a stream of Top 40 hits, as well as videos for songs like "Think I'm in Love" and "Shakin."

Sept. 5: The Original Wailers:

In 1974, when Bob Marley went solo, on the brink of international stardom, he surprised the music community by choosing as his lead guitarist the soft spoken, American-born Al Anderson. It was Anderson's lead work on such classics as "No Woman, No Cry," "Dem Belly Full" and "Curfew (Three O' Clock Road Block)" that first alerted rock fans to the Wailers' music.
