With summer around the corner, The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Lake Tahoe has launched several new wellness-inspired activities.
Check out Alpen Glo yoga, a customized class where beginners and experts will come together and focus on lengthening, strengthening, and toning the body while calming the mind. The class will start at 6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays on the Spa Terrace, starting May 28, with a fee of $30 per person. Yogis also might want to attend Mountainside Yoga offered daily at 9 a.m., which promotes breath-centered yoga combining gentle, meditative movements, stretches and deep healing for a complete restoration on the Spa Terrace. For those looking to spend the weekend relaxing poolside, cabanas can be reserved for two people.
This summer also marks the return of the annual Wellness Weekend running June 17-18 at the resort. Weekend activities include customized fitness and spin classes, yoga, hikes, deep tissue massage specials and pop-up chair massages. Discounts also will be offered for personal training sessions during this weekend, and health-conscious menus will be featured throughout the resort’s restaurants. The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Lake Tahoe will host trunk shows and offer La Bella Donna makeup applications throughout the weekend. The Wellness Weekend will be offered for $200 per person for the two-day weekend or $150 per person per day.
The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Lake Tahoe is a 17,000-square-foot spa retreat. Signature treatments offered this season include the Barefoot Massage, the Olive Orchid Oasis, which offers a mineral bath soak followed by a warm stone massage, and the Revitalize Facial. After hiking through the scenic mountains of North Lake Tahoe, guests can indulge in a Green Tea and Peppermint Manicure and Pedicure.
