On May 27 the Reno Events Center will host Grammy award winning musician Skrillex as a fundraiser for “The Space Whale,” the newest sculpture project from the artists who brought you “Embrace,” “The Pier” and “The Pier 2.” “The Space Whale” will be a 50 foot tall stained glass humpback whale sculpture that will debut at Burning Man 2016 before traveling to 6 countries around the world in hopes of raising awareness about global climate change.

Grammy Award winning musician Sonny Moore, known by his stage name Skrillex, is contributing to “The Space Whale” project following his deeply personal connection to Burning Man’s 2014 “Embrace” sculpture. Promising “not your normal Skrillex show,” this one-night-only concert will be full of surprises, art and fan participation the likes of which Reno has never seen before.

This fundraising event is a collaborative effort between large scale art creators The Pier Group, local events group Fresh Bakin’, stage designers Mindful Massive and California music promoter World Famous Productions.

Tickets available via , The Melting Pot World Emporium or any Ticketmaster Outlet. No fees at Reno Events Center Box Office or Melting Pot (cash only at Melting Pot).
