Weekends will be rockin’ at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe in November. Every Friday night, Vinyl will host a free show featuring local and regional talent and on Saturday nights, Rock Rewind will be presented by KRLT in Vinyl, featuring classic rock tribute bands. Tickets for Saturday night shows cost $10 or free to Backstage Pass holders. Tickets can only be purchased the day of the show in the Hard Rock Hotel Store.

Kicking off the month, Beer Drinkers and Hellraisers will take the stage playing tribute to legendary rock band, ZZ Top on Nov. 7. Creating some of the greatest hits of the ’70s and crafting witty lyrics full of double entendres and innuendos, ZZ Top was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. Beer Drinkers and Hellraisers will own the stage, performing hits like “Sharp Dressed Man” and “Gimmie All Your Lovin” on Nov. 7. Doors open at 9 p.m., show starts at 9:30 p.m.

Saturday night tribute bands continue on Nov. 14, with Led Zepagain. Their inspiration, Led Zeppelin, took the world by storm with their one-of-a-kind rock and roll sound that highlighted bluesy tones and folk influences. The band has sold nearly 300 million records and in 1995, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Join Led Zepagain for groovy renditions of some of the classics like “Stairway to Heaven” and “Rock and Roll.” Doors open at 9 p.m., show starts at 9:30 p.m.

Petty Theft, the Tom Petty tribute band, takes the stage Nov. 21 playing hits like “Free Fallin’” and “I Won’t Back Down.” Petty Theft will celebrate the smooth sounds of blues-rock and heartland rock that landed Tom Petty in the Hall of Fame in 2002. Petty and his band The Heartbreakers released multiple hit singles, including Tom Petty’s first ever duet, “Insider,” with the iconic Stevie Nicks. Join Petty Theft to honor the great Tom Petty on Nov. 21. Doors open at 9 p.m., show starts at 9:30 p.m.

Another hall of famer, Van Halen, will be paid tribute on Nov, 28, when tribute band Hot for Teacher rocks Vinyl. Shooting to fame in the early ’80s, Van Halen is best known for their glam metal and rocker sound and their international hit “Jump” that reached number one on the Billboard Top 100.
