PIGAPALOOZA AT TAHOE BILTMORE
Pigapalooza brings together craft beer and barbecue. The festival will feature ribs, pulled pork, brisket (yeah, we know that's not pork) and frosty brews from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. June 10-11 at the Tahoe Biltmore Hotel & Casino in Crystal Bay, about an hour from Reno.
TRUCKEE BREW FEST
The 11th annual Truckee Brew Fest runs from 1-5 p.m. June 11 at Truckee Regional Park.
The Truckee Optimist Club’s 11th annual Truckee Brew Fest features more than 40 specialty brews and ciders from Northern California and Nevada breweries, live music by Lost Whiskey Engine and Coburn Station; dancing, bratwurst and other barbecue items, a silent auction and more. Advanced tickets cost $30; $35 at the gate. Entry includes a commemorative tasting glass and unlimited tasting until 5 p.m. Pre-sale tickets are available at Dickson Realty, Coffee Bar, Tuff Beanz, Auto Glass Express Truckee, Zanders, and Mellow Fellow (Truckee and North Tahoe locations). Attendees must be 21, and no dogs are allowed.
EDGEWOOD BAR NAMED AMONG BEST GOLF PUBS
Brooks’ Bar & Deck at Edgewood Tahoe, the golf and event destination in Stateline, recently was named one of the best golf pubs in the world by the editors of Golf Digest. Ten other pubs received the recognition.

‘WINE ON THE WATER’ BENEFIT AT HYATT TAHOE
Wine on the Water, a fundraiser for Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe, runs from 1 to 5 p.m. June 12 at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe cottage green, 111 Country Club Drive, Incline Village.
