A special meal will be served for $16.95 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the Branding Iron Café. The meal includes potato-leek soup or salad; an 8-ounce beef tenderloin steak; and tiramisu.

CARSON VALLEY INN: Two special dinners will be served from 4:30 p.m. in CV Steak. A 6-ounce filet mignon with a half-pound of king crab legs costs $36, and filet of sole stuffed with shrimp, scallops and crab with béarnaise sauce costs $29.
Katie’s Country Kitchen serves two special meals with soup or salad from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Pan-seared chicken with an artichoke cream sauce costs $9.99, and grilled salmon with asparagus, crab meat and béarnaise sauce costs $13.99.
Both restaurants offer children’s menus on Mother’s Day.
