La Strada is teaming with Dreyfus Ashby and Southern Wine and Spirits to present a seven-course dinner Dec. 2 at the Eldorado Resort Casino's La Strada restaurant. The reception will start at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m.

Chef Ivano Centemeri’s menu begins with parmesan and marinated olives on friselle bread rubbed with roasted tomato, garlic olive oil and basil, followed by cream of potato and roasted chestnut soup. The pasta course includes a raviolaccio carbonara, sautéed leeks and lasagnette with roasted duck. For the seafood entrée, guests will tuck into Hawaiian snapper wrapped in prosciutto with wild mushrooms. The last entrée will be beef short ribs brasato with cream of buckwheat polenta. Dessert is a hazelnut and chocolate chip gelato with warm espresso zabaione.
