If you're looking for a tried and true favorite, you can't go wrong with BJs Barbecue in Sparks. With five different meat choices (pork, beef, sausage, ham, and meatloaf), there's something for everyone. The sweet and tangy barbecue sauce adds a sassy kick to the flavorful smoked meat and the side dishes round out the meal nicely. Brothers BBQ is keeping it simple with St. Louis style ribs at their Reno restaurant. The ribs come in a half rack with six bones or a full rack with 12 bones. They also have chicken, sandwiches, a barbecue bowl with Fritos, beans, pulled pork, and onions, and a Texas tater topped with cheese, pulled pork, and sour cream.

We said high-brow, right? Enjoy Braised Wagyu short ribs served with saffron risotto and a toasted garlic-basil gremolata at one of Reno's top steakhouses.
Men Wielding Fire
Men Wielding Fire is putting their own twist on classic barbecue food, including what day of the week it's served on. The baby back chipotle ribs come in a half rack and a full rack and are served with the house made chipotle sauce; the half pound of beef short ribs are slow smoked and served with Men Wielding Fire's house made barbecue sauce. But there's catch to both of these delectable concoctions: the chipotle ribs are only served on Mondays and the beef ribs are only served on Tuesdays. However, should you happen to be craving ribs some other night of the week that isn't Monday or Tuesday, the St. Louis Ribs, slow smoked pork rubs seasoned with Men Wielding Fire's shizzle rub and served dry or wet, are served every night of the week.
