According to the feedback and numbers, Artown's 2007 festival was a smashing success. More people than ever attended events with skilled local artists participating in and producing 90% of the 12th annual festival.

Beat the heat with the Nightingale Summer Chamber Music Series at the University of Nevada, Reno, July 10, 12 and 14, as the critically acclaimed faculty chamber music ensemble Argenta and many of their gifted friends perform a lively and eclectic repertoire of favorites.
Controlled Burn opens Artown 2007
Controlled Burn, Reno’s homegrown cutting-edge fire spinning performance group, will open Artown 2007 on the Mapes Plaza on July 1. The public is invited to this free performance and is welcomed to experience Controlled Burn.
