Tahoe Women’s Services ski day at Sugar Bowl - Dec. 13

Tahoe Women’s Services invites all skiers and snowboarders to ski Sugarbowl Ski Resort for just $25 on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008. By purchasing an advance $25 all-day ticket, you are supporting Tahoe Women’s Services, the only agency providing assistance to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in the North Lake Tahoe/Truckee region of California and Nevada. Sugarbowl has generously donated 1,000 tickets, with 100 percent of the ticket proceeds to benefit Tahoe Women’s Services. Tickets are limited so guests are encouraged to purchase tickets soon.

Tahoe Women’s Services is a community-based organization providing direct services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse and other individuals in crisis. In California, TWS serves the Truckee community in Nevada County, and several Placer County communities along the north shore of Lake Tahoe region. In Nevada, TWS serves the Incline Village and Crystal Bay communities. All information and services are available in English and Spanish.

Tickets are available for purchase online now at www.tahoewomenservices.org or by calling (775) 298-0182. Tickets will be available for pick-up the day of the event at will-call at Sugarbowl. Tickets must be purchased prior to the event and and can only be used on Dec. 13, 2008.
