Check out everything fun under the sun - pond skimming, snow volleyball, races, live music, costumes, giveaways and more - at Kirkwood Jammin' XV & the Kirkwood Cup March 29-30.

With a base depth of 159 inches and a season snowfall total over 450 inches, Kirkwood Mountain Resort is enjoying some of the best spring skiing and riding conditions in years. In celebration, the resort is hosting the 15th Annual Kirkwood Jammin’ Spring Festival Saturday, March 29 and Sunday, March 30. Guests can expect an action-packed lineup of events with festivities including the Kirkwood Cup Banked Slalom, pond skimming, snow volleyball, live music, costumes, contests, giveaways and more. To qualify, students must show ID, student ID, a transcript demonstrating at least 9 units and purchase a Kirkwood College Card for $10 (a 50% savings). • 8-10 a.m. Kirkwood Cup Banked Slalom. To enter: $30. registration in Red Cliffs Day Lodge.
• 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Snow Volleyball in the Village Ice Rink
• 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Kirkwood Cup Banked Slalom on Chair 11
• Noon to 3 p.m. Pond Skimming registration begins at 11 a.m. in the Rare Earth tent in the Village Plaza. First 20 participants each hour receive a Kirkwood Jammin’ souvenir beach towel.
• 1 - 5 p.m. Live music with 5 O’ Clock Charlie in the Village Plaza
• 3 - 4 p.m. Pond Skimming Contest with prizes for the best costume, best style and crowd favorite

Sunday, March 30
• 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Snow Volleyball in the Village Ice Rink
• 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Kirkwood Cup Banked Slalom on Chair 11
