Sierra Sage Golf Course
Located 10 miles north of Reno in Stead; created in 1960 by the U.S. Air Force for personnel. Later purchased by Washoe County and the back nine was created in 1970. Upgraded irrigation and redesigned holes. A great course for beginners but presents a challenge to all golfers.
