Reno Film Festival

2010 dates to come: Awards, Gala event, film school, presentation, panels and feature film screenings

The Reno Film Festival hosts a number of events throughout the year, as follows: March: Annual Oscar Shorts screenings where the latest Academy Award nominated and winning short films are screened locally; May: Annual Lumiere All School Student Film Fest, where finalists in a number of entertaining categories are shown; June: Annual Reno Film Festival that spotlights film screenings, educational sessions, a dinner gala and more.

Each year's festival screenings the finalists from the annual Reno Indie Short Film Competition, the student Lumiere winners, a premiere, if available, classic and independent films and features; September: Screenings of the “view and vote” Manhattan Short Film Festival entries, where Reno is the only Nevada venue for this international competition. The 9th Annual Reno Film Festival was held June 17-21. The schedule of events:
