The Silver Legacy Resort Casino

                    PRINT          COMMENT
The Silver Legacy Resort Casino, right in the center of downtown, pays homage to Nevada’s infamous silver-mining era.

Location
The Silver Legacy Resort Casino
407 N Virginia St, Reno
(800) 523-8304

The Silver Legacy Resort Casino is located within four miles from Reno Tahoe International Airport. The Reno Events Center and Century Riverside Theater are within four blocks of this resort. The Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts, Reno Livestock Events Center and the University of Nevada are one mile away.

Hotel Features
The casino features 85,000 square-feet of gaming space and 90,000 square-feet of convention space. Resort features include an hourly laser show displayed on the domed ceiling above a 120-foot-high, full-scale mining rig that highlights Nevada’s Comstock era and the life of fictitious silver baron Sam Fairchild.

A full-service spa, whirlpool, outdoor pool, fitness center and sundeck, a full-service salon, business center and airport shuttle are all offered at the hotel casino. Headline entertainers appear regularly, and the Catch a Rising Star Comedy is open nightly. A concierge desk assists with dinner reservations, purchasing show tickets, scheduling city tours and information.

Guestrooms
Configured in three, tiered towers, this resort hotel offers 1,720 guestrooms decorated in Victorian mining-era decor. Wireless Internet access and cable television are featured in all guestrooms.

Dining
Six onsite restaurants and many lounges are available. Choices include a steakhouse oyster bar and buffet. Rum Bullions island bar is an open-beam warehouse-style bar that features nightly dueling pianists.

Expert Tip
The Comstock-era artifacts showcased in the hotel's lobby are authentic. Ceramic bottles, pitchers, and spittoons were all unearthed at various Virginia City dig sites, and are part of a traveling display.
