Beat the heat this summer and try your chance at a portion of $10,000 during the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino’s Summer Keno Tournament on Sat., July 19. The tournament starts at 9 a.m.

The prize pool for the tournament is more than $10,000 with first place winning $4,000. The buy-in is $500 with additional buy-ins available up to $3,000 per player. All contestants must register before the first games are called on 9 a.m. on Saturday.

Here’s how it works: players participate in 50 keno games. The player who has the “Biggest Lucky Ticket” after the 50 games is the winner and walks away with the grand prize. Other cash prizes include cash awards from $1,500 for second place all the way down to $75 for 30th place. This is a unique format that pays on a single winning ticket, instead of aggregate winnings.
