It's getting hot in here. Hot enough to burn the floor with a little 'FloorPlay'

Years ago, people used to dance together. They held hands, had their arms around each other, did synchronized steps. Now it's pretty much flailing and gyrating, which I have nothing against. I just always wished I could dance like the "pros."
Apparently, I'm not alone. Shows like So You Think You Can Dance and my favorite, Dancing With the Stars are all the rage right now as everyone wants to see beautiful people in sexy costumes executing dazzling dance steps. Well turn off your TV and head to the Eldorado before Aug. 10 and you'll have a chance to see just such a display.
FloorPlay by Burn the Floor is the sexiest, steamiest, most energy-filled show I have ever seen in this town. I wanted to hit the gym as soon as it was over. Watching the 10 insanely gorgeous international couples dance non-stop for about two hours was awe-inspiring and completely motivational.
The dance couples come from all corners of the globe; Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe and even the USA. You'll see them Samba, Salsa, Waltz, Tango, Swing, Jive and more and trust me, there's always more. The action never stops, nor do the costume changes, music and fun. A pair of very talented singers, plus a couple of amazing percussionists round out the cast and keep the show interesting at all times.
After the show, one of the producers asked me who my favorite couple was; each one has a specialty, not to mention a different look and energy. But my answer was simple: All of them. I'd rivet on one pair for a while, caught up in their incendiary chemistry and the decadent Latin moves, then another would take the spotlight, gliding like silk around the floor in an elegant ballroom dance. Suddenly, a spunky, hi-energy duo would come kicking out, arms and legs flying as they did steps faster than I ever thought possible ... so my answer stands: All of them were my favorite, just at different times. That's the beauty of this show, really ... they are all so talented, so beautiful and so mesmerizing, I loved every one the best, until the next pair came out.
