Earth Day 2008 at Idlewild Park
 Celebrate Earth Day April 20 at Idlewild Park. Fun for all ages and free! Entertainment on the solar-powered stage will include bluegrass, rock, Latin, reggae, jam and blues bands. Attend a workshop and learn how to "green up" your home, office and every other aspect of your life. Children's area activities keep the kids busy with games and crafts, while the grown-ups stock up at the Sustainable Farmers Market and browse displays by more than 100 Earth-friendly displays.  The 5th annual Reno River Festival is held May 9-11 and attracts world-class athletes from all parts of the globe.
