About Big & Rich
This country music phenom includes Big Kenny Alphin and John Rich. Both singer-songwriters are set to perform a show featuring their third studio release, Between Raising Hell And Amazing Grace. This highly anticipated set is highlighted by chart-topping tracks like, Save A Horse (Ride A Cowboy), Holy Water and Big Time.
The world was introduced to the genre-bending super-duo with the release of their May 2004 triple-platinum, No.1 debut release Horse Of A Different Color. The album reached number one on both the Billboard national chart as well as the Billboard country music chart. The most successful song from the album, Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy) reached No. 11 on country radio, and received wide exposure when ESPN featured the song in commercials for its coverage of the 2005 World Series of Poker.
Their follow-up CD, Comin’ To Your City, was released in November 2005 and has also achieved platinum status, fueled by hits like the much nominated title track 8th of November.
Awards and accolades
The duo has been nominated for several Grammy Awards and has gone home with: a Billboard Music Award for New Country Duo/Group Artist of the Year and the Country Music Association’s Duo of the Year and Horizon Awards.
Big Kenny is a BMI Songwriter of the Year, and scored his first No. 1 hit for Tim McGraw’s Last Dollar.
