About the Towne Center project
SilverStar Communities began construction on the Towne Center at Virginia Lake Crossing in July 2007. The mixed-use project is fashioned after successful urban centers across the country. The Center is adjacent to SilverStar’s Camden Place and Glen Manor at Virginia Lake Crossing developments, allowing residents of the San Francisco-inspired, 220-home neighborhood access to a variety of services and entertainment just a few steps outside the front door.
About SilverStar
SilverStar Communities has been building homes in the Reno area since 1995, including DeerCreek and The Cottages at Caughlin Ranch, Sundance and Chantalaine at Arrowcreek, Amber Glen and Indigo Hills at Somersett, Renaissance at Montrêux, Brighton Manor, and Camden Place and Glen Manor at Virginia Lake Crossing.
SilverStar Communities is one of the Builders Association of Northern Nevada’s most award-winning homebuilders. In addition, SilverStar homes are 30% more energy-efficient than the National Model Energy Code, making SilverStar the only builder in northern Nevada to receive Energy Star Certification. For SilverStar homeowners, better energy efficiency translates into lower utility costs, a cleaner environment and a more comfortable home.
