Moto over to Reno's southside for SushiMoto

Sushi Moto is a newer sushi restaurant in the Reno area, located in South Reno. Although it hasn’t been around for long, already it’s been voted one of the best sushi joints.
I was pretty surprised when I ate there. For Reno sushi, it’s quite good. The fish is fresh, the environment is comfortable, and the taste is totally worth the $14.95 it costs for an all-you-can-eat lunch, which goes until 3 p.m.
I tried the spicy tuna long roll, the Dynamite long roll, the Starstruck long roll, and some other interesting creation that had eel inside and tobiko on top. I also tried some pieces of salmon, tuna, and hamachi. All in all, I was very impressed. Nothing tasted too fishy, and nothing gave me a stomachache afterwards. That’s a big plus when you’re eating sushi from a place that isn’t located terribly close to the ocean.
The menu has a little more variety than a lot of places in town, and, for only $3.50, you can get yourself a large draft beer. Although a little out of the way, Sushi Moto is a place I’ll definitely be going back to.
Open Monday-Saturday, 11:30 a.m. until 10 p.m.
