Peppermill unveils new restaurant, convention center and hotel tower

New Biscotti's and Ballroom now open, Tuscany Tower opens Dec. 15

                    PRINT          COMMENT
Be prepared to be dazzled, Tuscan style, as the Peppermill opens its $400 million expansion.

The Peppermill’s 10th and newest restaurant, Biscotti’s, opened Nov. 22; the 62,000 square-foot Tuscany Ballroom opened Nov. 30; and the 600-room luxurious Tuscany Tower opens Saturday, Dec. 15.

<b>Touches of Tuscany</b>
Touches of Tuscany are coming to life as construction crews work on the final details.

<b>Biscotti</b>
In Biscotti’s, artists are carefully painting beautiful murals, inspired by artwork found in Italy, on the restaurant’s walls and ceiling.

The Biscotti’s menu is inspired by flavors from around the world. Peppermill chefs traveled near and abroad searching for ingredient combinations to tantalize your taste buds such as Italian flatbread pizzas, grilled-shrimp paninis, and Singapore garlic noodles.

At Biscotti’s Café, enjoy freshly made gelato, decadent crepes, flavored coffees, espressos, and much more. Just next to Biscotti’s and Biscotti Café is the Peppermill’s new Poolside Terrace. This bar and lounge is the perfect place to meet friends or relax. Oversized couches and chairs fill the lounge, while glass windows will offer stunning views of Tuscan gardens.

<b>Tuscany Ballroom</b>
The Peppermill’s new Tuscany Ballroom is northern Nevada’s largest free-span convention center. This center will hold up to 3,500 people for a sit down dinner, 5,500 people for a concert, or can be separated into 18 smaller rooms. Inside, the ballroom features sophisticated Tuscan embellishments combined with high-tech amenities for conventions, trade shows, weddings, meetings and concerts.

<b>Hotel Tower</b>
The 19-story Tuscany Tower is almost finished as bed linens, towels, and hand-painted art are added to the rooms. Each room features plush-pillow top king size beds, two high-definition televisions, elegant marble bathrooms with a European-style soaking tub, custom-made furniture, Wi-Fi access, and much more.

The Peppermill is excited to prepare for the second phase of its expansion. In 2008, the Peppermill will open a three-story spa and salon, health club, nightclub, steak house, and three resort-style pools with Tuscan gardens.
