Reno-Tahoe Open announces 2008 tour dates July 28 to Aug. 3

After an exhilarating 2007 tournament, the PGA Tour’s Reno-Tahoe Open launches into its 10th year of tournament play at Montrêux Golf and Country Club, July 28 - Aug. 3, 2008.

The tournament is the only PGA Tour event in northern Nevada and features a field of 132 PGA Tour professionals competing for a $3 million purse. The event, broadcast nationally on the Golf Channel, is a regular full-field stop and is part of the FedEx Cup schedule, a competition series for PGA Tour professionals where points are accumulated through the series to determine seeding for the FedExCup playoffs.
