Dragula
This custom bike was submitted by Peter Tarlian, owner. Created by David Dupor of DDCC. We dig its sleek bobber look and those bars with the clean lines of interior cables. Nice work.

This bike was created by David Dupor / DDCC and submitted by owner Peter Tarlian of Concord, Calif. The 2007 Street Vibrations was his first, but he says not his last. Look for this badass bike when he makes his return.

Badass Square Four
Ariel square fours were a unique British four-cylinder motorcycle made from the '30s through the '50s. They are pretty rare, but every once in a while you see them. Like at Street Vibrations. Nice, very nice.

Badass Bike
What makes this bike badass? Two words: Arlen Ness. One of the original chopper and custom-makers dating back to 1967. That's badass.

So many incredible bikes are rumbling the streets of Reno during Street Vibrations we can't possibly catch them all. Building the Badass Bike and maintaining it takes a lot of dough, blood, sweat, tears and time. We recognize the grueling work that goes into building these dream machines.

After hours of back-breaking, tool-tossing wrench sessions that leave bike builders feeling they'd rather scrap the whole heap, we salute the tried-and-true motorcycle warriors who turn out two-wheeled masterpieces.

So, in honor of Street Vibrations, we're creating a gallery to salute the Badass Bikes and the people who ride and build them.

If you think your bike is a Badass, send in a photo and some details about your mean machine and we'll post it with our selections. You and your posse can revel in the glory of being part of our Street Vibrations page until next year.

Jenks Canerday, Porterville, Calif.
Orange chopper - What makes it Badass?

Owner, builder Jenks Canerday made this Big Bear kit bike a labor of love. He built it with more customization than Big Bear does and poured a lot of money, not to mention his heart and soul into creating it. And - he rides this one! It is not trailer’d from show to show. He built it to ride!

Joff Paradise, Los Angeles, Calif.
Scorpio chopper - What makes it Badass?

Owner, creator and Wham-Bam salesman built this bike around his astrological sign, the Scorpio. It bears a sweet paint job, tons of tooling, extras and a piece of movie memorabilia.

Chad Bushman, Nampa, Idaho
Black chopper, Antique chopper with crocodile seat - What makes it Badass?

The antique machine bears a gator-skin seat from a farm in Idaho. The black beast is a new 2008 Stealth BMF, if you know what we mean.
