The Central Pacific Railroad and the Comstock: The Nevada Historical Society hosts The Central Pacific Railroad and the Comstock now through Dec. 14 in the Changing Gallery. The exhibit highlights Nevada’s first railroad, an important part of the nation’s first transcontinental line, and illustrates how discovery of the Comstock Lode in late 1859 defined its route. The Fey Collection Exhibit on Display at the Nevada State Museum: The Nevada State Museum is proud to host the new exhibit Slot Machines: The Fey Collection which highlights machines by the renowned designer Charles August Fey.
