Not a bad looking town, huh?

Picture this: Everything looks a little brighter

Reno 360°: A blog for those who love Reno and aren't afraid to admit it

Sometimes, it's the stuff that's right in front of you that escapes you the most. I've had a weird couple of weeks; nothing fatal, but just nose to the grindstone, lots of people after me for things kind of weeks. I hate the word stress because it's too ubiquitous these days, but if ever I were to use it about myself, now would be the time. But then I unloaded my digital camera, and everything looks different.

So here, in pictures and just a few words, is why I'm still so glad I moved back to Reno. Stress be damned; this place rocks.

Just a little more than a month ago ...
I was on top of the world, or so it seemed ...

Just a few minutes away ....
I can walk up the hill at Huffaker with my kids and grand-dog and just see something so beautiful ...

Just across town ...
I can see what great community development looks like while I watch my grand-dog tear it up at the Sparks Marina dog park ...

Just a short drive ...
If I ever tire of the high desert scene (however briefly), I head over the hill to greener pastures and the wine country of Amador County...

Just because it's always right there ...
Whenever the day has just been less-than super, when the sun sets like this, I know I've got tomorrow to try it all over again. Thanks Reno!
