2007 Reno Air Races set for Sept. 12-16

Air Races, pylon events, six different kinds of planes, stunts and acrobatics at more than 500 miles per hour… What’s not to love about the Reno Air Races and Air Show?

Spectators return year after year to see the most amazing flights and watch pilots compete in the championship pylon races. Don’t miss this amazing event.

The 2007 National Championship Air Races and Air Show in Reno are set for Sept. 12 to Sept. 16 at Stead field, eight miles North of Reno. For more information, visit the official air race site <a target="_blank" href="http://www.airrace.org/indexJS.php";>airrace.org</a>

Six classes of planes are reported to be part of this year’s event, including: Biplane, Formula One, Sport, AT-6, Jet and Unlimited and the exciting return of the Canadian Forces, Snowbirds.

Although all the events have not been set, mark your calendars and get ready for the exciting Reno Air Races.

Cost to ride shuttle:

• Children ages 5 and younger, free
• Adults: $10 one way; $18 round-trip rides; Children age 12 and younger: $5 one way or $10 round-trip rides.
