This year, Reno Riverfestival organizers expect 25,000 visitors to the Reno area from May 10 to 13 to attend the whitewater raft and kayak event and races. The events are held at Truckee River Whitewater Park at Wingfield, where racing events and water recreation fans spill over the banks and flood the downtown area with family fun.
A limited schedule of events is available at this time but continue to check back with us for the latest updates on the event. For more details, visit here.
The Truckee River Whitewater Park at Wingfield offers some terrific terrain and a super downtown location with easy access to all the entertainment Reno has to offer. The mild year-round climate offers water temperatures between 50 degrees and 70 degrees, and the river offers enough variety of whitewater to suit every skill level. Try one of the many water activities including kayaking, rafting and tubing. The easy public access and surrounding park areas offer space for a ton of other outdoor activities that make the Truckee River Whitewater Park at Wingfield a great vacation destination.

Clinics are available no matter what your skill level. From the "never, ever" folks to the river-rapids savvy, clinics are available to teach you and your group how to ride the water. And while you are here, check out the expo, presenting all you'd need in new gear and see the latest, advanced sporting equipment available. Don’t miss the event. You don’t want to be caught up the Truckee without a paddle.
