La Famiglia makes you feel right at home

Food Bites: A blog about Reno’s dining and restaurant scene

La Famiglia is pretty much the best Italian food I’ve ever had. It’s pricy, yes, but definitely worth every last penny. Seating is limited, so reservations are usually a good idea. Otherwise, it’s always fun to get there early, put your name on the list, and sit in the bar and have a cocktail or two.

The full menu is available in the bar as well, so, if you have one too many drinks and can’t gather the ability to relocate to the dining room, feel free to stuff your face with some amazing Portobello raviolis on a barstool instead. The bartenders are pretty friendly, too, so going alone and treating yourself to some tasty Italian love isn’t a bad idea either.

One side of the dining room is constructed entirely of windows, so it can also be quite the perfect place for a date, sitting by the window and wining and dining your lady with a view of…well, the street. To find La Famiglia in downtown Reno, check our map here.
